Following the successful inspection report in 2003, Woodhouse College was awarded Learning & Skills Beacon status.
We take the view that the best way to improve further is to be self-critical, reflective and experimental. And so, with partner colleagues in other local colleges, our teaching departments have engaged in a series of “supported experiments” in various aspects of practice which impact upon the classroom experience of students. We were inspired by the work of Geoff Petty, and you may be interested in reading more about the idea of supported experiments on his website here.
