Reporting and Assessment

Assessment for the purpose of both learning and monitoring is a priority for the college. Each department devises its own annual assessment schedule, which it shares with their students at the start of the academic year. These schedules help students to chart their academic progress and allow close monitoring by teachers, heads of department, heads of faculty, heads of year and senior leaders. Most departments also devise an initial diagnostic task/test for completion during one of the first lessons during the autumn term which they use to screen lower sixth students who are likely to need additional support to succeed on their courses.

This chart below covers the key college-wide assessment and reporting dates for 2025-26.
