UCAS
All students will attend sessions delivered by ambassadors of different universities during the one day ‘Introduction to HE day’ in November in year 12. Students will also attend our 3-day UCAS conference in May, where they will start their UCAS applications and attend talks and workshops throughout the week. Information about researching and comparing courses, applying to university, personal statement writing, and super curricular activities can be found on Careers SharePoint.

Studying Abroad
We offer workshops and follow-up one-to-one support sessions for students applying to study overseas. Information on studying in different countries, as well as case studies from former Woodhouse students who have studied abroad, can be found on Careers SharePoint and the display board outside the careers office. Students who are considering applying to study aboard must attend the workshop or make contact with Rachel Foster to ensure they are given the right support and supporting documentation from Woodhouse.
If you are considering applying to study in the USA, you must attend the workshops about our timeline and process for applying through the Common App.
Over the past few years Woodhouse students have secured places at the following Universities:
Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island, USA
University of Brussels, Belgium
University of Amsterdam, Netherlands
California Polytechnic State University, California, USA
Grand Valley State University, Michigan, USA
