Governance

Our Governors provide our school with strategic leadership, alongside our Headteacher and senior staff. They also serve the vital role of providing oversight when the school is making important decisions and setting objectives that impact our community.

They have been appointed from a wide variety of backgrounds, bringing a balance of staff and student insight alongside expertise from education, business and the wider community. Together, they understand the importance of a broad A level education and the opportunities it creates for university, apprenticeships and future careers.

Woodhouse College's local governance is overseen by the Local Governing Body, which is responsible for holding the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to account for the educational performance of the college. The Governing Body discharge the functions that have been delegated to it by the Board of Trustees.
