College Policy: Progression into second year

What will happen at the end of your first year at Woodhouse?

Students at Woodhouse College will no longer take AS levels from the academic year 2017-18 onwards. However, there will be internal end of year exams in the summer term in each A level subject. If a student does badly in these, they will be required to retake the exams a few weeks later.

We assume that the vast majority of students will progress into the second year. However, we reserve the right to refuse entry to the second year where the student's attendance or behaviour is poor, or where the student's academic progress is so limited that we do not have confidence in their ability to pass the A level course.
