Year 11 A level preparatory summer work
Our departments have been creating work for you to do before you join us in September.
The work created has been carefully designed to help you make a successful transition to your A level courses when you join us in September. In addition to being introduced to parts of the specific content of our syllabuses, you will develop some of the core A level skills that are necessary for success.
It is anticipated that you will need to spend around 12-15 hours completing the tasks set for each of your three subjects. This might sound quite a lot, but if you want to do it that way it in fact equates to spending only around 75-90 minutes a week on each subject between now and the start of the autumn term.
Please don’t be intimidated by what we are asking you to do here - you are not being tested! The work has been pitched at an appropriate level and we really hope that you will enjoy and be stimulated by it.
In September, your Woodhouse teachers will check over the work you have produced and the tasks will be incorporated into the first few lessons of the new term.
Just click on each subject link to download the A level preparatory document.
