Applying for Year 13 entry only

Year 13: Transferring to Woodhouse College from another educational institution provider
 
APPLICATIONS FOR YR13 ENTRY FOR SEPTEMBER 2023, HAVE NOW CLOSED.
 
Email admissions@woodhouse.ac.uk and request a ‘Year 13 Form’. Email the completed form back with a copy of your GCSE statement of results.
Applications will not be considered if you fail to provide proof of your GCSE results
 
You will also need to supply the following supporting documentation if you would like to be considered:
 
• Why you wish to transfer from your current educational provider.
 
• Your most recent school report from this academic year indicating your progress to date.
 
• Your current working grades or your UCAS predicted grade.
 
Please be aware when we enrol students for YR13 entry, we use very strict criteria. In short, we need to be convinced that they are capable of achieving at least a grade B in each of their A level subjects.
 
If you are applying to study A level English Literature or A level History, you need to have been studying the following texts and or units:
 
A level English Literature Texts and Coursework:
• The Tempest
• Dracula and The Bloody Chamber
• Jerusalem Close analysis coursework
 
A level History Texts and Coursework:
• Stewart Briton 1603 - 1702
• Cold War 1945 – 1991
• Russian Cold War coursework 1855 - 1953
