Woodhouse Mentor wins at Career Ready Awards

Last night, Career Ready UK held their annual awards in Canary Wharf, on the 39th floor of 1 Canada Square. Woodhouse's Razia Sobratty returned with great news...

“The whole evening (hosted by the Canary Wharf Group) was a great experience and a lot of fun.
 
I had the opportunity to network with other Career Ready award winners/nominees as well as talk to professional experienced people in business. This gave me an amazing insight in to the other strands the programme offers to both the students and volunteers. Seeing the scope at which the programme operates at made me really thankful to be part of a charity which gives people so many opportunities!
 
 
 
Personally, the highlight of the night was definitely handing the ‘Mentor of the Year Award South-East and London Region’ to my mentor - Emily Seager from Lloyds Bank - up on stage. I felt really proud and thankful that all the time and hard work she put into helping me for the past year had paid off and she was recognised for it. It was a truly amazing moment to be in one of London’s largest financial districts, as the sun set, awarding the many people who made this programme possible.”
